I don't like cheating i condone it on ares in fact. But, As some of you know, before i used ares 1.2 i used to always rename my planet everytime i played a game of ares multiplayer. Many people ask why, and i never tell them, because i don't remember that well. It's rather complicated, and i'm not sure i can remember how i did it because it was a long time ago, but i'll do my best. Here's what you do... First thing..you have to have resedit to do this and ares 1.1.1.
1) Open ares with resedit.
2)look for the STR# section
3)type in decending order, in the boxes, the number 1 then 2 in the next box then 3,4...ect untill you reach the end. then save changes and quit.
4)Now here is what happens in ares 1.1.1--->
--To activate cheats hit .
--To build ships instantly hit 1
--To get a pay increase hit 2
--To get a pay decrease hit 3
--To get invisibility hit 0
--To win the lottery hit ,
--To name a planet (that's yours) click on the planet first--then hit the / button--Then hit return and type a name--hit return again--click off of your planet, then click back on to it and what do you know...it's got a new name!
I did this a long long long time ago, so things might be a bit off, but this is how it goes to the best of my knowledge. Although i suggest only useing these codes to rename a planet or test a plug. Playing ares really isn't that hard and you don't need cheats. Multiplayer cheating is dumb as well..all it does is mess up ares and your stats when you build juge fleets to kill each other. Any questions post here..The original codes for ares 1.1.1 everyone knows by now so i'm not gonna waste my time putting them in here. If you want them just look at some earlier webboard posts.

2. Clarifying it for everyone
3. I'd better delete it actualy or someone might be able to actualy do it for once.
