Yo, Im trying to play Ares in Mac OS X with classic. It switches my moniter to 256 but thats when the truble starts...

The rez gos to 1024x768 and then i can't see anything in game ranger... it just gets all fuzzy and hafl the text i can't read Posted Image

! So i switch it to 640x480 and go back to Ares and then the half of Ares is sticking off the left top cornor. What gives!? This stumped me.. Posted Image

G4 (not quicksilver)

Ares probably doesn't handle resolution switches well in the middle of the game in this situation. If you switch to 640x480 *before* loading up Ares, then it shouldn't misinterpret screen coords.

it changes back to 1024x768 for some reason

Er...what is this secret new Ares 2.5? Any changes? I was under the impression that Ares was a "Finished Work" (see the Ares FAQ page). When did this come out?
