...Since you wont continue "Stars End:The Raiders"...
I want to finish STER.
Notice i said "finish STER" not modify or take over.
The only things i'll do is make some missions slightly easier, put the breifings back in, and make it so you can win the last level.
You will remain in the credits(and on the readme) as the sole creator and designer of STER.
I don't want to do this unless you say i can.
...I just hate to see a good plug go to waste...
"Not even time to finish my cake?"

It would have been a great plug.... Why let it go to waste? If you aren't going to finish it why not let someone else?

I didn't poke... I'm just tired of seeing plugins being canceled when they are... Oh... you (Joveia) killed you STER topic (by changing almost everyone of your post) so I can't get the "nearly finished quote" I was going to use...

It looked like a good plugin maybe a great one.... I guess we will never know now...

P.S. Joveia try to answer in a complete relevant sentence that makes sense using proper english if you choose to answer at all

Well, not to be offensive, but I'm sure Skyfox will ruin my plugin's story and perhaps some other elements if he pilots it to fruition. When I said, 'nearly finished', I was stretching the truth, for indeed there is much to be done, that can be done only by me. I refer to the story and some graphics that were never completed.

Well, if you're talking graphics, I'd say Skyfox did pretty good. I mean, if he's willing I think you should take him up on it. Give him some drawings of what you want the new ships to look like and then let him go at it. If you really hate it then I guess you could turn it down but I think he did well enough with the graphics in his plug that I wouldn't worry. Look at his storyline, tell him what you want him to do with it. I'd be willing to beta for spelling & grammar errors - as I did for Stars of Fire. I think that you may be turning down quite an offer here Joveia. He's willing to help you finish a plug that thousands of people might download. Tell him what to do, keep the story yours, check it in the end, and just go along with the ride. Well, it's your choice (that's just what I'd do.)

A plug-in, even a small one, is a very personal thing. It's your creativity, it bears your mark. Even when worked as a team, there will be distinctive personal influences, and the overall team will have a strong identifying characteristic.

It's Joveia's vision, and no matter how good Skyfox is, he doesn't have the same vision. Whatever he does with the plug-in would be distinctly different to what Joveia had in mind, and so I can't blame Joveia for declining to have his work finished.

Then again, I can blame him for stopping so near completion. Posted Image

That's true, and I do understand that. I have probably three large plugs all under construction (all in the early stages) and have lost most of my motivation to complete them. I would feel gypped if someone took my plug, changed it around and then took credit for it. Well, I think though that it would be smart (if Joveia has any dreams of release) to let somebody help. I think that Skyfox is pretty good on the graphics end of things myself and so it might be wise to let him do some art for you (which I think is probably the hardest part). Ya know, I'm going to soon develop a Coldstone game and if anyone wants to volunteer any free art, I'm more than willing to accept.

Joviea: I understand that you don't want someone else messing with your plot

However, I have another idea. Would you mind if I took the ships from the last private beta of SETR(I believe the naraad were fully implemented) and put them in some net missions as SETR multiplayer Lite v2?

Except for the trans, the naarad were implemented. However, they were pain to play as well, and I ended up planning some drastic alterations. If you want, sure. (It will also give you the opportunity to fix some of the levels you were complaining about.. or was that pyro?)

Joveia, I can understand you not wanting someone to muck up your plug but if/when you leave the boards permenantly *pats pointy stick* please release what you have done so far, at least for us to muck around with privately, if not for someone to finish. SETR is a brilliant plug and it's such a pity to see it go to waste.
