I don't think your plug-ins, Audemedon and Oain were decompressed right. It says error-199 when I try to un-stuff them

huh.....

That's pretty strange. I played all the way through Obain I think, seemed fine. Admittedly, something is definitely wrong with the files now, for me anyway, but that does kinda make me wonder how something which won't unstuff can be rated a 73...

I can't even get it to un-stuff when I drag it into Stuffit.... That normally means there was a problem

That's really weird! I used Zip-It 1.4 to make the archives. I had the macbinary option checked and everything. When I unzipped it here at home it seemed to work fine. If you would like me to archive in some other way give me a heads up and if you want me to resubmit it I will.

It unstuffed for me too, but.....well it broke when it went from the pending files to the add-ons, it seems. Just make it a .sit and resubmit, please Posted Image

Weird. old versions of Aladdin Software tend to corrupt files. Always update when you can, just as a safety precaution.

Well I would make it a .sit but I went to the stuffit deluxe website to see if there was any way to get their software - 80$. Eek! I don't have the cash (Christmas shopping). Is there any other way to make a .sit?

Oh, don't expect total miracles from my plug, it's nothing compared to Footsteps or anything, I just thought that it would be a nice thing to make more races available for play to those who don't have modems fast enough for multiplayer (such as me).

Any help would be great!

(Oh yeah, the file unzips fine on my computer; I uploaded during the Deimos Rising madness. Could large numbers of downloads going on affect uploads?)

The standard version of stuffit expander is free anyway, you don't need the deluxe to make .sit files.

I rooted around a bit in Stuffit Expander but wasn't able to figure out how to make .sit files. I'll give it another look but if someone could tell me, that would be great.

Ignore everything I just said because it's Dropstuff you want, not expander.
whoops.

All right, I used dropstuff to make an archive. It worked. Just to be sure that the archive wasn't faulty I tried to unstuff it, but my computer froze! If you want me to submit it and you can see if it unstuffs on your computer, I can do that. Or if someone could tell me why it's freezing.... I hope I can figure this out.

All right. I'll do it tonight if I get the time but if not then definetly tomorrow morning. Give me a heads up on what happens. (I'm just going to resubmit both.)

Just had a look and they both unstuffed fine, both were playable, and they should be in the add-ons section as I type this.

Wunderbar (Great!). Weird that they don't unstuff on my computer, but that's o.k. I'm thinking of making Elejee soon, all I'd have to do is make some modifications to Obain because the Elejeetian sprites are actually there already (I figured they didn't take up that much space). Of course I'm in the middle of beta testing Skyfox's plug right now, so it might be a week or so before I get to it. Anyway, hope you enjoy them. I did find one not so serious bug on Aud last night, the Defense Drone's res ID is suppused to be 10 but it is still set at 15, I could fix it if you want me to.
