Hehehe, you'd think someone would LEARN by this point, and by generally noticing the flavor of the boards that you wouldn't get the cheat codes out of us. Nosiree, they'd have to be drug out with wild horses. I wager that we'd take those codes to the grave.


So please be nice you people and give out the codes to the nice man. Some of us who test out scenarios would like them as well, so that we'll actually be able to test them easily. Thus the reason for cheat codes is revealed. Getting ahead of places you've already played so that you can test the game more fully. Fancy that.

Too bad we're all against cheating. Bad us, bad.

The people down the hall are laughing at something hilarious. I really wonder what it is. But then again, I'm not overly curious. Silly dorm-people.

If you really want to ruin your Ares gameplay, here's a few.

Decrease resource replenishment rate: !!cut
Increase resource replenishment rate: !!raise
Control ship invisible to all enemy ships: !!dont mind me
Extra resources for ship building: !!pay up
Disable cheat mode !!suspend: disbelief

Yeah, I didn't find out until a few days ago that my cheats were wrong. I tried them out myself, and discovered that only using "==" before the codes would enable them. Example: ==gronk (enables cheats), ==fsst (ships built immediately), ==lotto (lots of resources) etc...

I really get sick of seeing these topics, and i'm barely on these boards anymore as it is....jeese..

all admins should lock these topics before they get replies.
codes for ares are really pointless, and people who really need to know them already do.

I'm sure i posted how to enter any ares code you want by only pressing one key and hitting return a couple times on this webboard, but still people open these new topics.
oh well

here's a suggestion for all of you who don't know what the codes are...use res edit, and find out the hard way like i did a long time ago.

Firstly, Captain Skyblade, the reason it wasn't closed is that there's no need to close topics which seem to be naturally sinking into obscurity, as they should.

Secondly, I don't like these topics any more than anyone else here. Which is why I'm locking this one now.
