Ambrosia Software Web Board: Hera problems screw up the rest of the worst day of my life - Ambrosia Software Web Board

Tuesday morning I was trying out Hera after i downloaded 1.2 yesterday night before the bus came. I go to net levels and check some stuff out. I make Obish and the other races avalibile in net and than leave. Later that night I come on and start a net game and the ping is over 10,000! I try to play but it keeps quiting when I try to play. I deleted the Hera stuff and found no changes made even after I did it. I got rid of the plugs and I still coulddn't play What's going on?

So why cant i do it?

There are a few things that you might try:
1) Deleting the Preferences file
2) Reinstalling the game
3) Reading the Hera manual(if you didn't already)

My guess is that an error in hera messed up the plug/game, or corrupted the preferences file. try doing #1 before #2 obviously. You will loose all of your progress in the game by deleting the preferences file. You can regain it by hitting (shift)+8, then hitting (# of level you were on)
