A long-awaited name change...

Well, for many on GR, it has meant Count Altair El Alemein, a name which I have until now used only on the ASW webboards and nowhere else.
With the accepting of new registrations, I have gone ahead and done what I meant to do a long time ago, finally officialise a name that I really, really think I can stick to.
From now on, no longer will I be known as Count Altair El Alemein, but Joveia.

It will be interesting to see how other people react seeing a person with 3 posts having 3 karma .

Please transfer my karma, your moderatorships.
Sorry, it says in the guidelines that karma is not transferrable, for all we know you could be some guy "pretending" to be the count.
I guess you'll just have to start from scratch, like the rest of us...

Well, in that case, I think I'll stick to Count Altair El Alemein. Hope for Joveia rests in moderators more liberal than you are.

Hmm, a guy pretending to be the count with the exact same I.P. and personality?
Well, only about 4 people can see your IP#.

If moderators can check IP's, then that's wrong.

So you did decide to change your name after all? Well, it's a nice name, with opera singer connotations . I'd transfer your karma, but it seems Laguna has beaten me off the post. Hmmmm. *SA contemplates adding three karma anyway*

And Joveia (hmmmm... so easy to mispel...)- sure I'll give you three more karma. One for each of your next three helpful, karma-worthy posts.

It's also easy to misspell misspell - you managed to get Joveia right. Must be one of those psychology things. If it's hard, you make an effort, and succeed. If it's easy, you slack off and possibly fail .
