I Just registered ares, and I had gotten to the 13th level before I tried a patch, Ishiman Quest. I passed 5 levels in that before I went back to the actual game. When I did, I found that I was set back to level 5 in the real thing. Whoops! i have 1.2.0 of ares too! It seems like my prefs file got corrupted by an error in the game. What do you think it is everyone? Hmm...

This is my plug we're talking about Captain Chr, so you can be assured I would know of any such problem, as would others. What you've experienced is one of Ares' quirky faults. Incidentally, how did you like the plugin? Is it better of worse than Earth Quest?

To get back to Chapter 13, do this: when on the level select screen, hit Shift-8. Then type 16.

Heh. I'd say I liked the Physics of Ishiman Quest more (and the weapons Posted Image), but Earth Queat takes the cake for graphics. Storylike, EQ is more thought through more than IQ (but it's so damn hard to be original these days).

I like Earth Quest better for the storyline, but the missiles etc. are too hard to see when fighting. Ishiman Quest could have slightly more pleasing colors, and fewer ships to fight and command in the levels. I like how powerfull the fighters and bombers are in IQ too. Overall, earthquest is better in my opinion. Thanks for your help.

These are the kind of people we like to see joining our boards! Since Earth Quest, I've modified the missiles somewhat, so now they leave much clearer contrails, and added special version of it for cruisers etc... which are super accurate.

Thanks. I'd really like to see your finished patch once you compile it all into your "grand work"
