This may have been said before, but if so just take this as a protest to the loss of our search feature here.

I had a working registration on my old Ares version (Yes, it was the Ambrosia one) and when i upgraded to 1.2 it gave me an error whenever i tried to load a level insisting that i contact Ambrosia for a valid code. I deleted my license and reentered the code with the same effect. Some help?

A year ago. It was slowing the server down so ASW got rid of it.

Thanks and no offense to Ambrosia but i don't expect to get an answer that way. Besides, my code isn't invalid, the new version just thinks it is.

Why wouldn't you expect to get an answer that way? Our tech support person responds to every single eMail we get.

If your code that used to work no longer does, odds are good the license code is pirated (which might also explain your reluctance to contact Ambrosia's tech support).

If this is not the case, then please eMail lostcodes@AmbrosiaSW.com and explain the situation -- we will look you up on our database and get a code to you immediately.

Speaking of pirating registration codes, let me share with you a personal experience.

I have this friend at school who kept on bugging me for my registration code, which I refused to give. In the end he created an email name *my name here* and then emailed tech support for the registration code. Of course, they gave it to him.

BTW, andrew, I think your quote is the greatest truism I have ever seen after a post.

I've recently begun to keep a compilation of my favourite quotes, which I produce at the drop of the hat. One of my first inclusions? Andrew's "idiots" truism. It's also the most popular amongst my intellectual elitest friends... Posted Image
