Could I get some criticism of my old plugs? They were all pretty bad, but why? I'd like to know so that I don' t repeat old mistakes.
A list of my plugs(only the campaigns):
Ares: The Aftermath
Ares: After The War

if you want brutally honest answers ill start with your current plug. The graphics suck and the lack of weapons makes the combat as a whole very depressing and boring. How was that Posted Image

Ouch. At least I already have the weapons issue fixed in B4.

Patrick, don't listen to him. I believe WOTF has real potential. Just fix up the graphics/storyline.

After the War, was not especially good, because it didn't introduce so to speak, anything new.

The Aftermath is really After the war.

*EDIT*

hey, how come you never emailed me beta 4?

Well, Aftermath is really cool! I like the fighting! (Note to other plug-makers: Always make big fights in cool capital ships!) Anyway, my favorite level is 28: Battle for Sol.
After the War is cool too, but the title? The War isn't over! If you mean the first 20 levels, you just freed Earth! What about the poor Obish, Elejeetian, and Ishman?!? (Don't worry: My plug is in the making. It will add all that and more!)

Still, they are both good plugs. Why do you think they stink?

That's my two cents for today. If you don't like it, you owe me two cents plus interest.

I dunno why it was called After The War. I just couldn't think of a better name. ATW is RIP now anyways, so it doesn't matter anymore Posted Image

Because everyone else did. ATW and Aftermath didn't get much praise when they were released. I actually think Aftermath is pretty good, although it still is no competition for Slug's Iron Fist.

I agree with madman 80513. I kind of liked Aftermath, the battle scenes were cool, and I liked the storyline too. I've never played After the War though.
