Whenever I try to download Ares 1.2 it downloads but when Stuffit Expander trys to expand it I just get a message that the file is encrypted. I know the password:geephor, but I don't know where to input it. I am really starting to get frustrated.

it will ask you for the password. If it does not, than you have a problem. Hmmmmm... Now that i think about it it shouldnt be opening with stuffit in the first place. Once you unstuffit there is a program to run the installation. Well that probably made no sense, good luck anyways Posted Image

Ares 1.2 comes in a .sea doesn't it? If it does, when you double click on it and select the destination to extract the files to, it'll ask you for the password then.

Turn off ALL unstuffing options in StuffIt when you download. Then unstuff it (SEA means Self-Extracting Archive) and when it's out, reenable StuffIt.

When you download it, it will automatically try to unstuff the file in StuffIt Expander, and corrupt the file. You need to turn off unstuffing while downloading so it doesn't do that. Then you can double click on it.

Weeks? My wait wasn't plural...
It only seems to happen in some cases, but it's the only download bug I've ever heard of, so I recommend this to everyone.

Ares 1.2.0 and Hera 1.0.0 -- the official release versions -- will be made available either today or tomorrow, with the appropriate fanfare, banner ads, and news announcements.

In the meantime, hang tight. I just have some busiwork to do to make it all happen.
