Help
16 months. That's how long I have been here, how long I have played Ares. I remember the old AresCentral boards from when I arrived in the Ares universe December '99. I remember all the cool topics that used to be on this board: "Top ten uses for Gaitori Fighters", and the "Ares periodical table". What has happened? Where has it all gone? Where did all the newbies go who would ask how to pass levels, and ask us for our super level beating techniques?
Ares seems to be dying, and the webboard along with it. Slug's leaving. I've been visiting this board less frequently every month. Nothing new has been coming up on these boards that at all pertains to Ares.
We need to ressurect Ares!

Hera may well be coming out soon, so we'll see an increase as soon as plugs start getting released.
It was going into a bit of a slump before Slug left, but unfortunately, there are people who follow the credo, "If isn't good enough for Slug, it isn't good enough for me."

Yes, I know the boards don't have a lot of things they used to. However, we have things now that we didn't have before. RPGs, Hehe, a bunch of other stuff in Trash Talk, and we're actually developing plugs, as opposed to coming up with ideas for plugs. I think the boards are good as they are.

very simple solution to all your problems. Move all the good topics to the breifing room and close down every other forum. It will be done if the boards continue to die out. Besides I dont really have a problem with only one forum, it would be easier on my poor 56k modem. Anyways: once some of the bigger plugs (starlance is still coming 
) come out people will be asking for help on plenty of levels.
