How about changing my name to this and leaving Cotton Mouse? The only problem is that I can't ever remember how to type my name...

Why would you want to change your name? You don't like having 1,000+ posts? And why move down the evolutionary ladder towards a bacteria? You would be well advised to stay with your current rodant incarnation.
