How do I start a net game

Alright I go to the start net game menu and iasks me for a host name
but I dont know anyone who has a mac near me much less has ares...

Someone please help!

I downloaded it but every time I log in I get an error #11 or #3 or it tells me something about my setting being corrupted how do i fix it
