Yes indeed! That is the thing which I am looking for. Well, mainly I'm looking for a sprite development program - and any cheap/free ones (well, allright - just free). If anybody could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. I know that Sundered did some awesome sprites for Footsteps and Skyfox did a bunch for one of his plugs, so if someone could direct me, that'd be great. I'm starting up a Coldstone project, and I may soon be scooping creativity from all of your minds without you even knowing it - watch what you say in the bars, it may soon be incorporated into a game ( Posted Image). Anyway, I'd love some help, I think graphics would be the main thing, and anything you could toss at me would be great. And if you can't help me out, pointing me to the nearest free sprite program would be wonderful. Hey, thanks a lot!

For a nice free 3D modeling program, try Strata 3Dbase
Then manuly render each frame of your sprite,
and put it all together with PICTs2Sprites.

All right, thanks! I'll give that a shot. Hey, I'm still open to suggestions!

Graphics resources, or "shipyards", are everywhere. Since EV-compatible sprites can be easily modified for use with Ares. Check on the EV Developers boards (politely) for links to the best "shipyards", and I suspect they'll give you some to get you started. Or try the EV links section.

Ya know what, that is a great idea! Thank you very much, that thought would not have even dawned on me. I think I'll give that a shot this weekend. My problem right now is that my computer refuses to load the Coldstone order page, and even though the $ is there (I've got 65$ sitting in my room, and boy is it beginning to burn! I've got to get this thing soon) I can't get through to the order page. My lucky, lucky friend who is on vacation in Florida (that lucky son of a... gun Posted Image ) has a cable modem and he will be willing to order it, so I'll stop rambling for no good reason and let you go.
