Graphic designers aren't overly common, and tend to have their own projects in the works.

Perhaps you should grab a copy of Mechanisto and teach yourself?

Agreed. As for Mechanisto, you can learn it extrememly fast (or Strata. Whichever you prefer) if you work hard at it. Ares1 of the EV forums couldn't make a sphere in Mechanisto last month, and now he's already doing amazing work with the program.
