There's probably alot of things Ares is missing...for example, it could use more players for multi-player, or computer vs. human setting that's just like human vs. human, only the computer is smarter than in the campaigns. It would be interesting to hear other suggestions from you people out there. Exactly what could be added to Ares to make it a much better game. (i won't post all of my ideas, that blows the whole theory of writing this message... )

What is Ares missing?

Some other missing things are new and innovative missions.
Look for those to come soon.
Also, multiple players is possible if 1 or more is a computer.
To make it fair, you could give the computer more ships or better ships.

Yes I know that you can put additional computer players...but the fun in most games lies with multiple human players. My friend and I can't play Ares for longer than 30 minutes without getting bored to death...and I find that even when I DO give the computer players better ships, they have no idea how to use them. They generally attack in overwhelming fleets of one or two ships.
BTW! I apologize to those people I insulted yesterday...I was NOT having a good day and I got rather carried away...I hope you'll forgive me.
Also one more thing...I know how to use Ares really well, and I'm making a plug-in, but there's one problem: I'm the worst artist in the universe. I still can't figure out how to get past stick-men. It should show my E-Mail, so if you'd like to help creating lots of ships you could give me a ring.

That's the topic where Admiral Grammaticus (Nathan Lamont) put a link to a site where you can download Strata 3D, which is what he used for the ships in Ares. I also suck with paint programs, but I've found 3D rendering to be very easy. And, although I suck with Strata, I think the things I've managed to make so far with it work fine for my plug.
