Or the final version? I want to finish my scenario! Beta 6 won't let me do it, either.

Beta 6 mostly works fine for me. It even lets me do multiple players!
The only things I can't do (that I've tried) are
A) Createobjectinheritdest
Create an object "direction relative"
and
C) Use the arrow keys to scan through the sprites while they animate (sprite names start dissapearing at random).

Macintosh Man: Beta 7 will come out when Nathan feels it's ready.
Darkk: I don't know how about your "direction relative" problem, it seems to work fine for me. As far as the other two, those and corruption are the most common ones.

Where do I get b6? I downloaded a file called Ares1.2.0b6.bin which contained a file by the same name but .sea, and it says I need a password to open it. So... is thius the right file, and, if so, then what is the password? if not, then where can I get the real file?

I did hear someone mention he hadn't had any problems with a7... I guess it must have just slppied out. I really want b7 (or a7). There's a bunch of stuff I need for Landsraad that's unavailable in b6. And I'd also like to get my 4-way Lalande scenarios up and running

A7 isn't without its problems. Some of them seem to be unexplainable, and this is why its taking so long.

Just so pyro doesn't get the nickel...
The password is geephor (it even says so on the page where you DL it)
I think that this has been posted countless times already, right?

A handy solution to that particular bug, Darkk, is to set up what you want to do with a standard "Create object" sequence, then switch it to the "Create object inherit destination" sequence. Try it, it works.
And I for one am certainly interested in a new version. I get extremely disinheartened when I see my beautiful asteroids glow brightly when bumped.

A handy solution to that particular bug, SA, assuming you don't mind if the asteroids are destroyed or not, is to set shields to 1 and check "doesn't die when destroyed." Then again, I've never tried this, so I don't actually know if it works
