I can't make the set of sprites. I'm trying to use the EV programs but they need a PICS file. Strata doesn't have that as an option. How can I put my 36 individual sprites together? I keep making mistakes when I try to do it manually. Is there a way to convert QT movies to PICS?

I did it myself in Photoshop so no help is necessary. By the way, After The War 2.0 is coming!

IIRC, makespin doesn't require a pics file, just a whole lot of picts. And it's a helluvalot easier thatn putting them together yourself in photoshop.

Try using EV sprite makers that that don't use PICS! There are several different ways to make the sprites, and PICS files are almost certainly not needed anymore.

I've made two programs:

m2s = movie to sprite - makes a sprite amd mask from a 36 (or any other square number) frame movie
p2s = folder of PICTs to sprite - makes a sprite amd mask from 36 (or any other square number) PICT files

They're free and you can get them at: http://www.sutherlan...o_software.html

Cheers
Ralph

Quicktime has all the tools you'll need for that. Just open up your strata 3D movie file with it, and export the file as an image sequence. It will create 36 (or however many frames you have) different png pictures of your graphic.

After The War 2.0 was my next plug-in. It was an update of After the War 1.1(which can be found on the addons page) I changed its name to Ares: The Aftermath now though. It's all different except for the first level. The public beta is in the Officer's Club. The final version won't be for several months though because I currently only have access to an LC III. Since it has a 25Mhz 68030 processor, it won't run Hera so therefore I can't work on the plug.

Eminem, that topic of yours got deleted because something in it wouldn't let it load.
