I've read the Lensman Chronicles (EE "Doc" Smith) and I've always thought it could be interesting for Ares. It would most definitely be interesting as for discussion of the various technologies, and the powers of the Lensmen themselves. While I am sure someone or other will now take to the idea and create a (shoddy) plug in for it, I think the meager discussion it could provide might keep the Engineering Dept alive (in its former elevated state)

You could probably get it from a library (Triplanetary is the first book) under "Smith, EE"
