This is so cool i figured out how to use hera yah cheers drinks all around !!!

I have started on a plug thats been broiling in my head for about a month now. I dont know how long it will take me now. I will probably need help from some of the people here to get ceartin complicated things running. Also whoever designed ishman quest: that is a really good plug. Did you design those graphics yuorself?. And pallas athene and ther good graphics designers what program do you use do design ships i need to do a couple thing to make an entire ejetian race?

okay you guys over estimated me just a slight bit....
Meaning i can understand hera means i can make plugs like in between normal and crappy. But i would join yuor hera clan becasue i can churn out ideas REALLY fast, and most of them are quite good.
My new one is about pirates attcking ejeetian trading routes. If some one can tell me what graphics prog they use I can make a full fledged ejeetian race. Or if some one wants to make the graphics for me..............

Strata 3D is what was used to make the sprites. I don't think I'd join a Hera clan. Any good ideas I get I can make into plugs, anyway. I also think that if everybody on the boards joined, everybody would know everything about the plugs before they were posted.

What about the people who don't post on the boards? There are over 1,000 downloads for one of the plugs and I don't think the few of us on the boards did all that... There are more people out there, that either have no time for the boards, or see no point.

Also, we could make some really good plugs. Since many of us would know what we are doing, we could help each other (strenghts overlapping weaknesses) and make some really awesome plugs.

The only drawback is that we would know how to beat the plug easily, so some private plugs would be nice...

I had to set my TC release date back a month. Again. And besides, playing a plug-in you made yourself is no where near as exciting as playing one someone else made.

how do u edit graphics with res-edit

how do i fix this: when i start one of my test missions it says no enery blob defined and quits.

Res-Edit can't actually edit graphics. What you do is select the graphics you want to change, copy it, open some graphics program, paste it, edit it, copy the newer one, and paste it in in place of the origional.

Make and object, and on the main part, where you change the name, select "Is the energy blob."

Squabbling doesn't make for a very good clan-I'm not sure it would work. I think the most appropriate word would be a "council." That's designed for some agreeing, some disagreeing, and the best ideas of both.

I would be perfectly happy to make graphics for you, I guess. (**A little drunk, so she buys everyone another round of graphics)

Sorry to bring this topic up to the top again but I just got around to reading it. I have a few things to say:
1. Good job Pyro I will look forward to playing your creation.
2. Just wait until Broken Alliance is totally finished it'll blow you away(sorry but I can't finish the graphics until xmas time which is when I get enough money for a new G4 which then supports my 3d programs.)
3. I don't mean to offend anyone or trash any ideas but why a Hera clan? It seems to me that maintaining a clan to make one single plug would be as much work as making one. I just basically think that a group of guys "best of the best"(best programmer/s and grafx people) should just form a team instead, and make a number of plugs. For example: Slug and Pallas team up and make "Slugsoft" which would formerly have just slug I believe. That would work but trying to maintain a clan of Hera people would just be kinda pointless.
Once again I don't mean to offend anyone.
