You may have noticed that the official Ares web site, http://www.AresCentral.com/ , has changed a bit. I wonder if this has anything to do with Hera going into beta testing.

hmmmmm.

Yes, seen that.
There is no way you can axess the AresCentral anymore. Youre just being pushed over to the ambrosia homepage.

If it has anything to do with Hera, I dont know...
If some of the betatesters knows the answer, it would be nice!
Also, hows the Hera Beta going on anyway. Maybe the testers are to busy to talk about it.
Who are those testers anyway?

Well, i seem to have avoided the issue... getting confused, to much coffee...

....aarrhggh....

I am a tester. Nathan Lamont asked for beta testers on the web board a number of weeks ago. Andrew selected and recruited from those people. I have not received a copy of Hera, so no, I can't tell you anything about it, nor can anyone anywhere except the Ambrosia crew.

As far as I know, Hera is very, very close to beta. You should hear something by Monday or Tuesday.

Rep spoke too soon.

Hera is officially now in beta. From looking at the preliminary docs, map making is going to be quite the experiance. Its not clear what the rules regarding information about Hera being released to the public are, but once The Word™ comes from people who know, there may be some more Hera information/screenshots floating around.

Let the games begin!

A few hours too soon, even! I didn't think the Ambrosia crew would release it until the next working day.

Is there a list of beta testers? I know that if I am one, I am the last person that was selected.

Admiral Grammaticus, I hope you can read this: THANK YOU THANKYOU THANK YOU THANKYOU THANK YOU THaNKYOU THANK YOU THANKYOU THANK YOU THANKYOU!!!
... there, I said it. thanks for hera. I can't wait to see what other great products you'll create in the future.

Andrew: please keep an eye on the admiral. Don't let him out of his office. you should probably put a leash on him and tie it to his computer, if he really has to leave the office (only let him out on bathroom breaks), get him a laptop.
