I forgot to post this yesterday, so here it is a day late. This is my 1st Ambrosia birthday, the day this account turns one year old. I amassed the staggering total of 688 posts in that time. Now for some math

0.07848505589778691 posts per hour

1.883641341546886 posts per day

13.23076923076923 posts per week

57.33333333333334 posts per month

688 posts per year

Now for some extrapolation! (if thats a word)

I will hit 1000 posts in 165.634987205759 days

1376 posts next year at this time

in ten years I will have 6880 posts

In 50 years I will have 34400 posts

In 100 years I will have 68000 posts

woo for me

[edut]nevermind, I forgot my board day is in February. More than a few days. My statistics will be really impressive though...[/edit]

I would if I could but I can't. Maybe I will have more time when I venture down under on the 24th.

That seems to be your 1.88 posts for the day. Guess you can't post anymore, even if we start making fun of you. Posted Image

If my figures are correct, I average 4.11 posts per day, but you have to take into account that I rarely posted (compared to now) for about the first 6 months of my webboard career. I looked it up in my book and in the first 6 months (well, 6 months 2 days, that's the closest figure I could find) I accumulated 269 posts here, in the next 6 months I accumulated around 731 posts (give or take, I don't feel like looking this figure up) and in the 5 months, three days since August 4th or so I've posted 1113 times. I seem to be slowly speeding up.

As long as I was looking up my registration date, I figured I'd look for the highest ppd ratio on the boards (but only looked at the counts of a couple, likely, members). Our esteemed (real) post leader, Captaintripps, (if my figures are right) averages 10.42 posts per day. Our self-proclaimed quickest poster, -esw-dragoon_77, squeaks ahead of tripps with an average of 10.59 posts per day. So, concievably, esw is the ppd leader.

Hm, I've been too lazy to calculate my ppd, but its probably in the 5-7 range. For 2003, I do know I made 2175 posts, which is the most I've made in a year to date (and of that year, I think April was the biggest with 536 of them).

The question remains though, will esw ever be able to catch up to Tripps? A 0.17 ppd ratio doesn't offer much of a lead, when their difference is in the thousands - unless somebody leaves.

Whoa....freaky. I just checked my board registration for kicks upon reading this topic and it just happened to be Jan. 8... Posted Image

It really sucks to have a boring sig. You know, the kind that drones on forever and never really says anything. I try my best to never have one of those. Every time I make a new sig I try to get it to be a truly outstanding sig. Some people have sigs like that. With neat (EVula) links and stuff. Witty quotes are good too. But then some people have really, really, boring sigs that you'd die before reading more of. They just go on, and on, and on...those sigs really annoy me. I mean, they say nothing and nobody really cares anyway! I pity the people who have those.

By my calculations µ runs 8.52ppd, not even close (that month or two that she was gone hurt her). Av, you average 4.85ppd (there's a lot of days in just under three and a half years), and SA only pulls down 3.13ppd.

Well, I started out slow, with some large gaps in there. That, and the boards I used to mainly frequent wasn't as active as some of the others on Ambrosia (like Just Chat or EV B&B - places Tripps posts). My posting frequency has been picking up slowly, though I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing.

Does nobody read my posts?

Scroll up a little for SA's and µ's exact ppd ratings (as of a couple days ago).

If two sentences fit your definition of "long" - you must be falling asleep quite a bit.
