Becasue just chat is more formal, and we would get the (pants) slapped off of us for doing this in there. We usually referr to it as TT anyways, not ATT, so there is an excuse

It really sucks to have a boring sig. You know, the kind that drones on forever and never really says anything. I try my best to never have one of those. Every time I make a new sig I try to get it to be a truly outstanding sig. Some people have sigs like that. With neat (EVula) links and stuff. Witty quotes are good too. But then some people have really, really, boring sigs that you'd die before reading more of. They just go on, and on, and on...those sigs really annoy me. I mean, they say nothing and nobody really cares anyway! I pity the people who have those.

Everyone mostly will ignore you at Just Chat until you make any kind of opinionated statement at all, at which point you have to get fired up real fast and basically outlast them in a digital match of fisticuffs (which doesn't work with Quasar, FYI, he will keep on going forever, especially on environmental issues). So, its not really worth it trying to debate someone on Just Chat, where they pick apart your post rather than counter your overall message.

Thus, the ATT exists, offering a place of seclusion for those self-exiled JC people.

Ah, but the same could be said about EV B&B board, too, as it has nothing at all to do with EV any more, if, in fact, it ever did.
