I know that some of you will be attending this years SSBM tournament. I was wondering what your thoughts are on the competition, and modes of play. If you arent attending, tell us what your fav character is. If you never played Super Smash Bros. Melee, tell us your fav video game character of all time. Or you fav game.....

Actually, I think only two are competing. And two others might be going as spectators. I was going to compete. But, considering I can't play, I'm sitting this one out. I'm not much of a platform girl anyway.

As for my favorite game: I tend to lean towards more stratigy/RPG sort of things. Like Civ, Caesar, Morrowind, ect, ect.

Link all the way. For SSB/M that is, I'm not that fond of the actual Zelda games.

My favorite character would have to be Marth in SSBM. In SSB, it was Link.

HALO and Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind were both exceptionaly well put together games. Both I own and play regualarly. Vec, Kevin by the way is the god of Morrowind. Ask if you can see his file's at the tourny. He is incredibly advanced.

Falcon in Melee. But in the original Smash Brothers, a much better game, I was incredibly good with Donkey Kong.

I remember when my old friend Dave beat the imported original SSB on super hard difficulty the first time he played it. It was pretty funny when we found out.

With all of this Morrowind talk (which I would love to play, but never have), I take it that nobody has ever played Neverwinter Nights?

Don't worry man, you aren't missing much. I haven't played either NWN or M:ES3 much, but I can definately assure you that it doesn't take long for the terrible fighting graphics in Morrowind to wreck the whole experience. As a whole, NWN is a much cooler game (though HALO rules all(except EVN))

Good. Often times it is something like, well, fighting graphics, that can make or break a game. In NWN, the graphics are excelent, even turned down to the lowest level (which I have to do on my...Windows ME machine). Characters duck, dodge, struggle to get up, and a various manner of other actions that add to the general level of realisticness. Plus it has got a story that is so unbelievably good that it boggles my mind, and all kinds of twists and turns that make it into the best game that I have ever played.

If its a first person shooter, I can name several games that live up to the experince of halo. Diablo not two but one. That was so ahead of its time that it was the best, it brought online experince, a new level of RPG, that a ADD person could enjoy, and its graphics were supberb. Blizzard sadly is no longer ahead of the game, infact it is quite behind it.

NWN is an awsome game, but I don't know if it can beat Morrowind so easily. They both had awsome touches...NWN had great graphics, story system, D&D adaption...but Morrowind had some nice touches also. Example: In NWN if you kill a shopkeeper, his entire stock disappears magically to the land of skrizzle. In Morrowind, everything a shopkeeper has to sell can be found either in his shop or on his cold dead body.
