OK, here's what you do. Find old old embarrassing posts by forum members, quote it so they can't edit it out, then link the topic so we have proof. Considering we were all real dumb* back in the day** this should be a pretty good laugh. I figure this is pretty much what trash talk is about.

*Some of us have not improved greatly
**More back in the day for some than others.

Heres a good example of how I acted back in the day. It must have been reasonably amusing to others more aware.

Oh come on, if you are going to try something witty like that, don't suck at it. I was 99% sure someone would quote my topic post, but all the ways I thought they would do it were so much better.

Now fix your post, use correct UBB, and make it more witty, chop chop.

I don't think I was that dumb, I was somewhat whiney though. And arrogant, much more arrogant. Of course, back in the day, the universe revolved around me.

I don't believe that I was ever particularly dumb on the boards. I'd say that I've changed all that much at all from my first post here (EV Nova boards in a topic by the name of "Firefly" if I remember correctly, if anyone wants to search for it).

I have an opinion on just about every subject which, as Azzy says, makes for good sig material. I don't think that my statement is particularly dumb, strange maybe (in fact probably), but certainly not any dumber than anything else I've ever posted (which is just my way of saying that you haven't changed my mind, µ Posted Image ).

Ok, here's mine:

Topic named "Karma Points"

Date 11-30-2001:

Quote

I just registered today and was wondering exactly what that means? Oh, and a little something I noticed, though I may be the last to catch on, but the Igadzra, Azdgari and Zidagar all have names composed of exactly the same letters, I wonder if it has anything to do with their common origin and if there's any way to figure out what the original name was (without asking Matt Burch).

Got flamed a bit for that one...

You know it pisses me off that you actually weren't. Since you were one of my old ares buddies, you were the first one I looked up to try and find something good, and I couldn't find much. I did find some pretty hilarious quotes from EMINEM though (my signature contains one), but he's gone.

I feel the need to refer back to the topic. As much as I would like to quote moonunits above post, the act would a little too jambo, so:

You're wrong. I was also a lot more giddy and such.

I dug up perhaps one of my most embarassing posts ever, but now I'm thinking posting it here isn't really a good idea. They're out there, you just need to dig deep enough. Posted Image

Now I wish I didn't go looking for it to prove you wrong, ugh... Posted Image

By the way, Pyro pointed out I spelled "thesaurus" wrong on one of my lower posts, making my argument somewhat laughable.

Hello, Laguna. Nice to know we have a new poster on our boards... Posted Image

I know I have posted some really really dumb things, but I can't seem to find any of them. I've searched the B&B/EVN, and I know it was one of those two places...
Maybe some kind moderator deleted them to save me the embarrasment.
