Anyone else go? I made it to the very end of Ambrosia's time on the big screen on Thursday, and got some lessons in Pop-Pop a few minutes after I was supposed to have left to meet my dad. (Hmmm... I remember seeing a list of people who were logged on to the Pop-Pop game network, and the only name I recognized at all was LoneIgadzra)

I also conclusively proved that the only reason I'm not normally good at WC3 is because my computer is really too slow to handle it. Hoping for a new iMac...

If you open pop pop at the main menu and hit x, various sayings come up and one of them says:

"Admiral Grammaticus will have something special for you soon"

NL has said he is not working on Ares 2, and there will not be an Ares 2. There might be a sequel in another form though(not an updated ares engine but maybe a different genre?)

Oh yeah, my guess is the "special thing" referred to is [url="http://"http://www.biggerplanet.com/wicked/index.html"]NL's project "Wicked"[/url] which iirc is a 3d engine, possibly with a game to demonstrate it?

I do recall talking to the Admiral about his future plans, and he mentioned something set in the Ares universe, but "on a different scale". I don't think that is "wicked", though- that single image we have suggests zombies.

Hmmmm. Zombie Audemedons, anyone?
