And don't say 'Ahh, you missed heavy destroyer.' I'll do the heavying thankyou, all I need are basic names.

Besides that, all I can think of is making new ship classes, although I'll probably think of something more when I get more tired.

When you say you're trying to avoid "personalized names," you mean you are trying to avoid such names as "Osprey" or "Tiger" for example?

I'm horrible at chess... therefore if my chess skills fail me in my hour of need, I'll win an important match that I wouldn't be playing…

A british merchant ship type of world war 2, 1939-45 that was fitted with a temporary flying deck. The name was derived from the initital letters of the term 'merchant aircraft carrier.' Like the camship, it was developed as a result of the eavy losses that british convoys crossing the atlantic had suffered from 1940 at the hands of the Focke-Wulf FW 200 Condor, a long-range german bomber. Merchant aircraft carriers were vessels with long decks, uch as oil tankers and grain ships, above whose superstrcture a flying platform wa fitted. Fighter aircraft operating form machips provided the atlantic vonoys with much-needed additional protection from enemy attack. They later carried machines that operated in an anti-submarine role. Machips were much more efficient than campships because aircraft launched from them could return to them. Planes could not return to campships; normally the planes had to be ditched in the sea.
