This is a survey. How long does it usually take for someone to no longer be considered a "newbie"? Post your own opinion here. Both number of posts, and time spent are acceptable answers (along with a couple others).
And no, I'm not taking this survey for my benefit. It was asked by a fellow...shall we say, webboard member.

It takes different amounts of time. It has a lot to do with behavior. For instance, I still consider Eminem to be more of a newbie than you. You're still pretty new, in my opinion, though. I don't know what Slug or the other guys think.

On the EV boards its generally considered 6 months. I don't know about Ares becasue you have net games and such, that could make a differece.

I've heard rumors that he was on the old boards but even if that isn't true...he registered in January.
How can he be condsidered a newbie? Even in OctoberFost's mind, Mag isn't a newbie.
Just because he registered "after" you did, doesn't mean he is a newbie forever...

Time, three months on and you are no longer a newbie. The exception is if you only have about 17-45 posts in that time so you don't know much.

There is something that can for using math to figure this out. It will be tough. You can't use the same standard you use on one, to everybody. Those who are newbies are people who don't know much on he boards. They could have posted 500 and still not know how the board works. But some post three and already have the workds of the board down. There is no definate answer.
