He's a very nice person on GR, and we like him, I don' understand why he thinks we don't. Mag told him that there is a time hwen the old members sit back and watch the new members and judge them, and I think there is some truth to that. You may be being judged Avartara, but we still like you .

I've decided not to, after reading Cotton's post and thinking about what Mag said on GR, but unfortunately, I will be unable to post for the next three weeks (except maybe during a brief time next weekend) due to an unfortunate circumstance (something unrelated).

Just to shed more light about having troubles when you first join, let me tell you two stories.
The first is about Slug. His first posts were all newbie. And whenever he posted, somebody would say, "Shut up, Slug." Now look at him. He's not just a very well respected old guy, he's a moderator. He has power.
The second is about me. I joined with the demo from Changeling, and the unregistered version. I though I knew everything about Ares... Nearly every single post I made was contradicted by Replicant. Now I'm one of the oldest on the boards, and I'm pretty well respected. I'm not a moderator only because I don't want to be one.
Hope this opens your eyes to the way things work on this board.
