If nobody's posting, here's something. It's sort-of Ares related, because the pictures are organized so that they can be used in an Ares kind of format. If you look carefully, especially on the fighter, you can see a boilerplate pattern.

Did I forget to mention that these were made in Strata? I think I did. Once I've used them, they'll be made available.

Interesting. I've got Strata, and I've got Texture-stuff done OK. I can texture objects beautifully. But I can't perform Transformations on objects! All I need is simple stuff like "Bend" and "Twist". Do you know how to do this?

I can't tell you how to twist, but if you want to distort things and such, you have to convert them under the modeling menu. I use Bezier surfaces personally, I should probably post some of my mighty work.

I know how to convert them, and then use the reshape command, but vertex-by-vertex editing isn't exactly what I want. Is there any other way?

I've got plenty off awsome graphics on my computer, I just don't know how to post them on the web and on this forum. Are there any web sites that will take my Visual Ramblings?

How does a grand total of 23 ships since I posted that sound?

This includes:
-The essential 7 of a new race,
-3 of the essential 7 of 2 new races
-1 of the essential 7 of 1 new race
-3 Obish ships
-2 Ishiman Ships
-1 Eleejeetian Ship
-2 Civilian Ships (Cirusian Staryards)
-1 GRAPEJET

NOTE: the "essential seven" refers to the 7 ships used in Rock&Rock
(Fighter,Cruiser,Gunship,HVD,Carrier,Transport,AslTrans)

Needless to say, I'm not lazy anymore.

Did I mention I sketched out the essential seven of 4 races and sketched out the remaining 4 of one of the 3's? And 4 other Civilian Ships? Now if only I could get that webpage up to show you...
