Ok! I'll start the story and you continue it, as long as it stays ARES related. Also, since we're in the trash talk, we can use Images and coding to our hearts' contents!

Here goes:

Captain Slursh of the Stellar Navy of Salril gazed out of his window, a flicker of light illuminated his face as the last enemy ship exploded in space.

"Every time it's the same damn thing." He mumbled to himself as he slithered to his quarters. On the way he passed first officer Sheesh, who threw him a look of concern.

Throughout their history these "unenlightened" beings have continually opposed and fought abuses of power wrought by their own bretheren. We, as the prophets would do well to learn from these Humans.
-Final statement of the Salrilian reformist Sirthis shortly before his execution.

Meanwhile, a lone cruiser drifts through the silent blackness of space. It's Captain, a rough looking ishiman, sighs as the last casualty reports roll in.
"gor'Ash, my mate, was among those killed in the Salrilian raid. I will miss her much."

A cadet gunner pets the captain's shoulder (the ishiman expression for compassion) and says "We will get them snak'tu's (an ishiman expletive) and we will hit them so fast they will never see it coming. remember: they are watching." An unhealthy and evil grin forms on the captain's lips and the cadet doubts whether that was an approriate time to say that.
