I don't want to make false accusations, but I read a post that Admiral Dennis said about Saragantus being someone from long ago. The first person who comes to mind is... Exar Kun. He gave himself a lousy reputation on the old board and hasn't been seen for a while... Any comments?

I heard he was rebel.
Just what I heard.

Oooh! So close, yet so wrong. Exar Kun was actually an old friend of mine who used to live about three miles from me. He was kind of a big Star Wars fan for those who can't see the obvious.

I said it before, and I'll say it again: I was NOT rebel. For a while I thought that Sword of Damocles was, but then he revieled his identity in Aithon's "Where Y'all From?" topic, and it turns out he's an old "aquaintance" of mine from middle school. I think that may be why he's been so quiet lately. But this is off the subject.

Do you live in 'Ares Country' or something? I don't know anybody from around here who plays it, except my brother. Posted Image

No, I live in Minneapolis. The reason I know people on the AWB personally is that back in junior high my little group of grungie computer nerds all owned Macs and mostly just played Marathon. Then we discovered Ambrosia, and we all jumped on the EV bandwagon. We loved the game and kept checking Ambrosia for more kewl shareware. Eventually Ares came out and we signed on to the web board, even though we had long since scattered and gone our seperate ways.

Are you Ankh starruner or something? I haven't seen him for a while either, but I have no idea why he would change his name; he was pretty respected. Posted Image

I'm in the same boat. I like to beat up my brother over out 100/BaseT ethernet LAN, but it's not much of a chalange. I live on quiet Cape Cod. No one here has even heard of Ambrosia Software. Well, the kid who created Napster is in walking distance of my house...

No offense, but this is one of the weirdest and most off-the-topic threads I've seen in quite some time.

Keep it up, guys!
