Darkk's Prerelease Report.
Darkk attended the Magic: The Gathering Onslaught prerelease tourney. Darkk played in two "flights" which are mini-tourneys. Darkk played 2 matches in each, and lost all 4. He didn't even win a game. The only win Darkk got at all was from a "bye" which is where one person is given an auotowin to make the pairings work.

It all worked out, though. Darkk got some DAMN COOL cards in his packs/decks. Plus walking 2 miles each way to the subway station burned a ton of calories.

That takes me back. Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Lightning Bolt, Pyrokenesis, Pyrokenesis, you lose. Only requires 4 red mana...

Ah yes, Type 1 red. "Oops, I win." Red's my favorite tourney color. Mm, Jackal-pup-alicious.

Yeah, I loved zapping someone with 2 or three lightning bolts and finishing with the 10 point fireball and fork.

Ah. Magic. Back to those primary school days seven years ago, where someone stealing my Wendigo and Colossus of Sardia was the most crushing moment of my young life to date...

Ahhh, Magic. Don't play anymore, with few exceptions. I realized somewhere around Urza's Saga that the game was getting old and rather stupid, so now I only use themed decks - my current favorite is a Merfolk Deck with lots of mana drain. (Vodalian Mages actually become useful that way)

hehehe *me runs away, laughing*

I actually have both those cards. I stopped playing when the store we all went to tournaments at got bought out. Plus my friend and I started collecting waharmmer 40k minatures, a much more engaging and rewarding hobby, if I do say so.

...I cant spell anything right...
