Hey, any sales will do me. Spread the word, and the merchandice! Posted Image

As for rip-offs, we'll just license them too. It's easier than sending a squad of enforcers around to re-arrange their facial features, or a fleet of battleships to squash their home world...
Besides, its good business.

Speak for yourself. I'd rather see their faces remodeled to resemble M.C. Escher paintings.

I personally prefer the "3D art book" effect.
You know what I mean, rearrange their face so when you cross your eyes just right, you see their origional face.

Right. A "Magic Eye" face. Pull your viewpoint away from them slowly, and you'll see the outline of their original face. Ah, well. By the way, we've finally made peace with the Greccha Empire. We established a permanent border between our space with dozens of automated defense stations on either side with about a million miles of empty space between. A sort of neutral zone.

Alacina looks up from her drink.
"Heh. That ALWAYS works. Ask France."

Cicion stares at her.

"After WWI, there were a bunch of tiny "buffer zone" countries between France and Germany, forming a sort of neutral zone. Don't worry, I'm sure the Greccha WON'T get a crazy, revenge-minded dictator."

Well, the Greccha may be ruthless conquerors and despots, but they don't much go for revenge or any of that stuff. Besides, those little countries had no defense against Germany. The border stations on our side should be able to stop anything up to an all-out attack, and at least delay anything else long enough for our fleet to get there and beat them back. And if they do attack, our navy brass will, lucky for the Greccha, probably decide against the traditional retaliation of pounding several military planets to rubble.

But enough political talk. Who wants another drink? *Pours one for himself.*

"I'll have a magionot(sp?) line deathknell." Alacina announces.
Cicion looks blank.
"Take a glass of French Cognac, 1940 is a good year, and add the ingrediants of a 'Blitz around it.'"
Cicion looks blank some more.
"Fine, gimme an 'Incompetant French General.'"
Cicion looks blank even more.
"Then gimme Dr. Pepper."

BAM!! As a wall falls down and dust fills the air a figure steps through. Can it be?

Hey guys! Long time no see. I've been skipping Ares for a while and havn't been to the boards in AGES due to school and not being home for the past 2 weekends. So what's been happening? Any word from Shrout?

Story of my life.

Shrout's having the same problems you have. School, life, general social antipathy towards endless hours of gaming.

Damn the institution.

I'm so sick of school i'm starting to want to quit if I could. I am going to need our vacation to Arizona in a week really bad. Plus tryouts for Baseball were today so I'm going to have something to take my mind off school.

School always starts to feel really bad in the springtime. I think it has to do with something in the air. Usually when fall rolls around again, I'm quite happy to return to the halls of learning. I also go to college and can pick what classes I go to and when. Posted Image

I can't wait for the summer. A pity that finals are between me and total freedom.

Hear, hear, fellows. All right, the bar's slipped into a coma again. Let's revive 'er! We're through the asteroid field, by the way. Resuming standard orbit.

The Darkks welcome their fifth member, and then confer.
"I enter" states Darkk2.

Well, business sure has been slow lately. I guess the new RPG has turned people's focus. *Makes some drinks and sets them on the bar in case anyone walks in.*

Hey all! I've been hanging around the EV web boards for a while and I'm waiting for the Nova CD to come in the mail. Finally hit one hundred posts ever since my MikeMTL profile screwed up. Just thought I'd come back and make my 100th post here while the bar slowly reaches two hundred posts and Laguna or someone opens the Officer's Club Bar #5.

BTW-Hey Cicon, I've been wondering, when you started the first Officer's Club bar, did you click the "E-Mail Notification" checkbox? That would suck to click on your inbox and find that in one day you had 30 or 40 new messages. Stupid question, I know.

Yet another version of Mag walks into the bar and orders a coke. The other ones don't seem to notice.

Here you all are. Well, as the bar's approaching the 200 mark, looks like it's about time to post a new one. Please allow me to do so.
