I have a BETTER idea. The pirates trick us into clearing out the Carrier FOR them. Anyone think that idea works?
Not really. Because you'd get courtmartialed even if you were tricked into it. Ishimans like diversity. They *don't* like defending races that go off and violate the borders of Cantharan space a couple months after setting them.
So this is what I get for trying to maintain an actual *plotline*...

A derrilict cantharan carrier has been seen misteriosly jumping randomly through space, it was last spoted near a human cavilian trading outpost, and has now appered in the wolf 359 syistem reported to be caught in the gravitational pull of the star. the watsa name squad being the nearist has been asigned to investagate. the pirates have been following this ship too, and want to find out how it can jump such large distances without gateship help.
Sounds abit like a star treck episode (aahhhh help!!).

I'll accept 10 people, and launch is in 48 hours. There are 8 slots left.
Jager and I have 2 slots taken up, any other takers?
Plan: We fight the Canths by means of an unholy alliance with the pirates, then we fight the pirates, every man for himself. Meanwhile, one of our ofciers finds a strange new breed of Cantharan hidden in ship's hold, far more power than we ever imagined....

ok, perfect, but wolf 359 is in EV NOVA 9024.
I only used the name wolf 359 because its the only one i could remember, and icouldent say it appered in the sol syistem because then the watsa name squad wouldent be the closest.
9024 jumps at the chance of being in this RPG.

Pallas Athene:
All im doing is expanding on the same idea to make it fit and so every one how wants to can participate. its not like its hard or any thing and in your posts all you sed was that it was a Cantharan carrier that you were going to attack with these special gunships, you dident say what state it was in or any thing so tecnicaly my modifyed idea fits in perfectly with the story line as long as the pirates are the ones that are in controle of the main bording action.

There is absolutely no reason for a run-of-the-mill Cantharan Carrier to be on the human side of the border, absolutely no reason for a Human EVAT team to be on the Cantharan side of the border - and absolutely no reason for me to bother anymore if no one's willing to allow ME to develop the storyline.
Edit: Actually, go ahead with your idea. If you won't mind me hijacking the ship after you capture a few Cantharans, it shouldn't make a difference.

There's a chapter 2A already, no need to get so angry. I mean, go ahead, do as you will, but there is no reason to get in a huff... Really, I mean, yelling at people and stuff isn't going to get you anywhere. Just calm down a little, think it over, and come back. Thanks!
Anyway, if Pallas is going to hijack the carrier, that's naother character used up.
Adn 9024 obviously wants to be in it, so go ahead...
6 slos left, launch is in 24 hours.

In any case, 2B is completely yours now. Decide on whatever chapter plot you want, and I won't be the slightest bit involved until you've finished everything and are bringing back a few Cantharan hostages.
