Aren't you all glad we're a small little board? There are no rivalries here that are anything big, and we don't get spammed with porn by a bunch of schmucks just so they can get their rocks off by watching us get mad. Some times it's better to be the little fish, don't you agree? Looking at EV b and b reminded me of this.

As a member of a "big fish" board, I know a lot about those spammers. When I find them I do my best to shut them down. That's frikkin' hard. I'm glad that this board is small and unobtrusive.

I'm very glad. The EV boards are just scary, although the Nova one has some good inputs from Matt Burch and ATMOS. The Ares boards are great, in my opinion.

I'm newer than you all and I don't post in the Officer's Club much, but I still always like the Ares boards better than the EV boards. Much friendlier, kind of a nice place to be on the boards.....

The Ares Boards are, in my opinion, the best. We've got a small but dedicated group of regulars, everyone gets on fine, and overall they're a pleasure to moderate.

Also, whenever I do have to invoke my powers, everyone nods and says "Ah, good old SA".

Yes, the Ares Boards are, in my heavily biased opinion, the best. In everything.

I definitely agree. The boards I visit are:
—Ambrosia Banter - often just too full of newbies, and interesting topics are relatively rare
—Just Chat - I can't even keep up!
—Ares Briefing Room, Officer's Club (occasionally), and Trash Talk - Nice people, nice community, nice feeling, and I can keep up with the new posts.
—EV and EVO Boards - Way too full of newbies (I don't hate them, just when they're obnoxious), too big, and a little hostile at times.
—EV Dev. Board - I don't really go on here much at all, actually.
—EV B&B - Sometimes pretty hostile. Arguments, accusations, etc.... I still visit it because that's where a lot of interesting topics are...
—EV Nova Board - Probably the best of the EV Boards. The ATMOS people are pretty nice, and of course there's particlestan...
