Anyway, I think Selax has set an important precedent: you can ignore the rules of a chron challenge and, if you claim that it's an entry, it counts anyway. That means that next time Selax has a laundry list of requirements for a chron challenge, we can disobey them entirely.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm not sure I've ever followed any challenge rules completely... But, the guidelines are still nice to have, because it decreases the amount of creative effort I have to put into it to come up with a story :D
I'll become even more undignified than this
