It took me 20 minutes to get this page to load, & when I saw that you both responded with links to other pages to load, I felt very put out.

Makron.
At last he came to a door, with these words in glowing emeralds: THE END OF THE WORLD. He did not hesitate. He opened the door and stepped through.

I'm pretty shocked that it's been so long since anyone posted a chronicle in May. We'll have to do a May Chron challenge!(Someone should post the challenge now, it'll take us 5 months to write the chronicles)

Well, as you can maybe see, I've brought my computer to the library with me. Fortunately, "story hour" today turned out to actually be a movie. The girls are calmly eating popcorn and watching Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, leaving me in peace to catch up on my internet-ing ^_^ Unfortunately, I still have no idea when we'll get our home-connection back. Today I told the city that they broke our connection, and they said they didn't care & I could fix it myself if it bothered me. I'm tempted to just disconnect officially :( Would that really be easier though? It's probably just as hard to get out of AT&T as it is to get repairs.

good news for me! Apparently some of our neighbours called AT&T, and they've set up a temporary above-ground line ^_^ I feel kind of bad for not calling now, but I didn't realize other people were disconnected too. And calling AT&T is a really unpleasant experience.

Anyway, back on topic. Well, not really on topic, but back to the first derail. I've now completely killed both Miss Shinjy and Lilac ;_; Neither of our external monitors will recognize Miss Shinjy any longer, rendering her unusable (though Shorty tried one of the monitors with Karis and it seemed to work fine). And Lilac will technically still boot up, but she pretty quickly starts sparking, which is quite frightening. This leaves me with Kail, the 68k performa, as my only option for playing Cythera. I played through the game once on Kail a few weeks ago, and although it was fun, it was definitely an exercise in patience. Right now I don't want a simple playthrough, I want to run some experiments that I don't think will be practical on Kail. For one thing, I'd like to go back & forth between several save-files, and Kail only has the storage space for two or three saved games. More importantly, I want to cast tons of spells, which really runs down the mana. Pandora's Box would be a great assistance in that, so that I don't have to replenish my mana, but I haven't even tried to install Pandora's Box on Kail - I know Pandora's Box is not compatible with Virtual Memory, and Kail doesn't have enough memory to open Cythera without Virtual Memory. Besides, Kail's been locking up a lot lately, and there's still the pesky problem of a faulty connection between the mouse and keyboard (which for some reason I don't understand renders both the keyboard and the mouse unresponsive). Computers are pretty annoying :[

I would recommend configuring Sheepshaver. Badger Wizard about the details of this process.

He already did that for me once, I'm not sure he'd have the patience to go through it again :x Out of curiosity, is it possible to use Pandora's Box in SS?

I seem to recall having heard that you were pregnant again some time ago, but I don't recall hearing anything else about it.

So, no, I do not recall having known about your third daughter.

I guess this would be the appropriate thread to announce that our fourth daughter, Hildegard Susanna, was born today. (Also, I'm never going to have any more kids because it hurts too much.)

I think you missed part of post. I'm just going to have to make do with four little girls (luckily they're all really cool ones).

Friday? I'm probably missing a reference, but that seems like a strange nickname for a girl born on a Sunday.

You should watch His Girl Friday because it's a great movie and the female lead is named Hildy.

I admit the 13 kids dream is still appealing, but I still don't want to go through that again. Y'all have no idea how painful & terrifying labour is. Oh, and raising the kids is a bit of work too.

(I'll try to remember to look for your movie recommendation at the video rental store, Fiery. All I can ever remember to check for is Equestria Girls, which is always checked out :[)

They might not have it. It's an old movie (black and white, ~1940?).

They didn't have it :( (is it even out on DVD? That's pretty old) They did, however, finally have Equestria Girls in ^_^ It was alright, but the musical numbers were pretty sad.

I keep forgetting to gravedig this topic to announce the birth of my fifth daughter. Hadassah Ruth was born on February 22nd. (At this point, everyone already knows that and I'm just giving out my kid's info to creepy stalkers from EV :\)
