There are only 168 people who have made more posts on the entire forums total, than the number of posts Pufer has made in the Word Association Football topic alone. Pufer could be in the 99.7 percentile of forum posters just from his Word Association Football posts.

I think we need to have an intervention.

I feel a little bit of pride in having the first reply to Word Association Football.

Even though I was saying he was an idiot and it wouldn't catch on. I was half right, he was an idiot...

I, for one, am glad to hold third place in that topic for number of postings, and fall in the category containing 168 people who have more total posts than Pufer's posts in the WAF.

I had a very strange dream last night that people broke in to my house, stole the top of my conservatory and stole only my coffee table, leaving all my computers, consoles and plasma tv. When I went outside to investigate I found a small collection of sniper rifles littering my garden.

I'm sure that means something, but I'm not sure what...

Oh, and the first thought I had was "Damn, the remote for my apple TV was in that table..."

That is a strange dream. You have an Apple TV?

Pah. I have over 11,000 posts not in WAF. If I need an intervention, it doesn't have much to do with that topic. ;)

Does any other topic have anything even close to that many replies?

Even better, how many topics have as many replies as Pufer has in that topic?

Normally mods close topics at 1000 replies, so probably none.

That topic Andrew posted to discuss his findings on the Mac OS X "Trojan" got quite a response. However most of it was from 'members' with one post asking if he could send them a copy of the file for research purposes...

Having seen eight years of prolific Pufer postings, I have my doubts about his ability to change.

I, for one, am not surprised at the amount of single word replies. After all, he/she/it has to balance out the rest of their posts in some way or another.

I enjoy reading Pufer's posts. They are quite enlightening and his logic is spot on.
Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.

WAF is a 'special' thread — it doesn't obey the normal rules...
Um, has anyone thought to take all those single word posts by Pufer and see if they make a coherent senten.., er book? :gasp:
Oh, so it is another bug hunt then...

Only Pufer would be able to manage a post that big!
