Recently, I've found that I can't pronounce various board members names. I'm not exactly sure how they intend on being pronounced. I always think of asking in some random topic that I'm reading, so I decided to start a topic on it. So how do you pronounce your name and why is it your name? What's the background story?

For me personally, many believe "Eva" to be my name. This is a grave misconception.

"Moonunit" (Pronounced like it sounds) "4eva" - Forever (I dunno.. it seemed witty at the time :P)

Someone at band camp told me that my father looked like Frank Zappa, whose daughter's name is Moonunit. So there you go. Your turn.

gong dao wei (弓道威) is my chinese name. since chinese don't have an alphabet, foreigners have to translate their names into chinese charachters so people can pronounce them. my name is actually david, which usually translates to dawei, but i like daowei more. i think it's pretty easy to pronounce, but just in case... dao is pronounced like it's spelled, and wei is pronounced kind of like way.
