Here's an interesting passage:

Quote

The Maze of Initiation

It is only through tests and ordeals that a prospect can truly be initiated into the mysteries of Scylla. The candidate must therefore pass through the Maze of Initiation. This alone shall test the worthiness of the candidate.
First, the candidate must find the secret, for only through secret knowledge is the path to future growth unlocked.
The second test is a test of power, for only through strength can the door to reality be opened. If they hesitate, or are errant in their use of power, surely shall that power destroy them.
The third test is one of planning. Only through proper planning can the obstacles in life be pushed aside, revealing the means to open the innermost chamber.
Finally, the true maze of comprehension must be mastered. Though the paths in life constantly switch and change, through comprehension can this maze be mastered.
Once the candidate has passed these four tests, then they can truly be a member of the Temple.

Sound familiar to anyone? It sounds suspiciously like Omen's test... a secret door, a bomb, crate movement, and the teleportation maze. Apparently Omen is not all that creative on his own.

Where did you get it? I can't read the Sapphire books (I am going to start a new game so I can), but I remember it talked about power and some other stuff. I can't quite remember.

Scylla Temple, right? Anyways, that's what made me think Omen might not have been following his fellow undines and that maybe Pelagon impersonator was Tavara, and Omen's master.

We could take it to the next step and assume that Omen is Tavara in spirit and isn't strong enough to come back in solid form. Pelagon is the vestle that Omen uses for a solid form and that the Scylla Temple was built by a bunch of misfits that were bent of conquering Cythera.

The Sapphire books are all listed now. I can also confirm that the order they appear in is the actual order of the Sapphire books - I collected all ten; they automatically sort themselves in the given order within one's inventory.

That kind of reminds me of Harry Potter.... Anyway, I did Omen's test again, carefully reading the papers. The first paper: Welcome, human, to my little test. It is not hard to pass, and will give you some skills you need to survive (though you may feel like a creature in a cage) I hope that Omen did not startle you. His appearance is strange, but don't let that deceive you.

Hmmm.....

The notes in there remind me of Tavara for some strange reason...maybe Tavara really is an undine, as I had thought of as a possibility.
