Just wondering, how come there is tons of Beggars/old people in Cademia who never talk to you? I accedently killed a few when I tried to double-click them, which usally talks. Neoptolemus is the only one who talks. And what happens to them at night? They dissapear and ruffians appear. Also, every midnight, how come Dares gets out of bed, then walks somewhere unknown? A few minutes go by, I go to his house, and he's sleeping again. Also, isn't Ariadne's kidnapper that gang guy? Slayer's guide just says "Kidnapper".

The beggars and ruffians are just there for ambiance, therefore they won't talk to you (although the ruffians will fight you).
Take a close look at the ground near his cabin. Notice anything peculiar?
The Kidnapper's name is supposedly Eudoxus, but the ruffian that talks at the abandoned farmhouse (and also, incidently, has a key), is just labled 'ruffian' like the others. Eudoxus is, supposedly, the leader of a band of theives--one of whom is Antiphus, who was captured when Ariadne was kidnapped.

What does Dares have to do with it though?
But you never see Eudoxus, do you? I don't remember that part of the game, I spent a huge time not knowing the crolna could activate standing stones as well as brake force walls, so I don't remember much until I visited the seldane city. Also, until you talk to him, Antiphus is labeled "ruffian" as well.
EDIT: Wait, you do see a wanted poster, is that him? Maybe the ruffian isn't him...
