A number of folks know me as Pufer in the real world, but they don't have anything to do with my online self. Even if they wanted to find something about me online, they wouldn't know that I go about spelling "puffer" with one "f". I never have invited anyone to join the boards and don't plan on doing so anytime soon.

All of my friends know about the boards, a couple of them read them regularly and one of them is a well known member. I can do this because I am honest with them, and with the boards. I see no reason why the two can't be incompatible, unless there's something you are hiding. There are, of course, totally valid reasons for hiding something. I just don't generally.

There are a few people that know of the name Swithich in the real world, mainly because it is my runescape account name. But they generally don't care and I'm sure none of them post here.

Yes, I'm that much of a nerd.

I don't believe so. You'd have to ask the rest of the clan still in existence. I'm not part of it anymore, just a loner here in reno.

The "Clan" does not exist as much as it used to. It's a much less defined group and has become quite hazy. Foggy, almost. It's hard to explain...

Same thing happened to the group I associated with in high school when we hit our senior year, only difference being that we called ourselves "The Circle" rather than the "Clan." 'Twas OK though as it allowed me to become more involved with the Latin Club, an entity which had nothing to do with anything Latin or anything to do with being an actual club even though we had an activities budget and a staff sponsor. Of course, we blew the budget on pizza and a members only toga party (plus a few select females), the sponsor was placed on leave halfway through the year due to her presentation of her views on the war in Afghanistan and the planning stages of the war in Iraq, and, since we were entirely autonomous, everyone who ever attended a meeting was entitled to a title of his or her choosing (we had a good four Presidents, a couple VP's, and a half-dozen Treasurers for some reason; I was the lone Chairman and was assisted in my nonexistant duties by the lovely and self-appointed Chief Court Courtesan).

I use ankhwatcher for pretty much everything i can: forum names, RA2: YR, My Nintendo DS, email addresses (I'm ankhwatcher@anythingpopular) all over the place really.
The trouble i have is that my friends offline are slow at remembering it.
And of course you've all met Hector. Who seems to have dissapeared, which is odd because Trinity hasn' started yet...
Wow, you read a post by Ankhwatcher you must be so proud.

Well I'd say the clan still probably exists, just on a level you don't realize. From what I understood, the clan was developed in the band, right? And I'm guessing most of those members are still there in the band. But seeing as I am not part of this band, or anything close to involving it, I am no longer a memeber.

What exactly did that have to do with being part of a clan? Did this "Latin Club" of yours develop into a second clan, or circle?

I use various tags, but I like Anaxagoras the most, even though I only use it on IRC and these forums. My friends know me as James, Thor, and, 'TGWKOS.' I'd rather not explain the last one.

To a certain extent, but that is beyond the point. The point being, of course, that I often go off on tangents that have nothing at all to do with what I began writing the post on. Once upon a time, this resulted in comically long posts that ambled pointlessly between various topics of conversation and often either acted as an impetus to a certain amount of the randomness of ATT or were ignored totally due to the absurd amount of time necessary for one to decipher what I was actually trying to say. Generally speaking, I've strayed from my previous pattern of post composition if for no other reason than I have less time to spend writing generally useless and rambling posts, yet the Pufervian spirit of old remains in my tendency to gradually shift the topic of conversation from one topic to another within the duration of one of my new and more succinct posts. What did this post start of saying anyway?

She will return, like CT9 did. Eventually. Infinity, too. Everyone will eventually see ATT again. It will never leave you alone.
