Shrout is probably right but I dont know what he is talkin' about.
I'm using the }{ to either allow an independant voice examining my own statements, or a descriptions of actions I partaking in (real or imaginary) it
also allows for the free'r flow of text.

I am here since forever and a day ago. Actually it was more like 2 to 3 days ago. But still!!! I am the anti-flag, come to live among you and rule you for the next 7 years! The end is nigh, and there is none among you who can stop me!

Well, actually, someone could ban me or something, then that would ruing my plans for board domination, although i have some obstacles to overcome first, like some of the top posters. And to get my first hundred posts.

Well, I would've posted a txt. However, I'm not confident that text encoding information would be sent correctly over WebDAV. I figured that rich text would probably contain its own encoding information in addition, thereby ensuring that my special characters would in fact be the correct special characters.

There was some discussion about various special characters. I figured I might as well get in on the action. I failed... but that's all ancient history now.

So do PDFs, and they don't employ the use of the God-forsaken program TextEdit.

Most decent text-editors are fully capable of importing rtfs. Pdf files just seem so heavy-duty, and I don't see a reason to make one for two lines of text.
