The gun they use in Star Gate is made by Belgians, in Goldeneye it was called the RCP90.Attached File  rcp90.jpg (51.2K)

It's called the P90, and was designed for the use of tank crews (small machine gun to fit inside a tank, see also the AK-74) and for people like bodyguards, and special forces, who need stopping power and lots of bullets in a small package.

Imagine not knowing that...

Actually, I would've known what an FN P90 Bull-Pup rifle (or just "Funny Bullpup" as it is known in some circles) was, but, as far as I can tell, there's no such thing as a RCP90. While the bullpup design was developed for use by tank crews, the AK-74 is nothing but a modernization of the AKM that uses 5.45x39mm ammo instead of the 47's 7.62x39mm. Since it is generally of the same diminsions as its predecessor (which is to say, "not small"), it wouldn't be any more useful in a tank than anything other full-sized submachinegun and certainly wasn't designed for such a purpose.

Did you purposely post that on June 25, exactly 6 months before Christmas, or was that just cool irony?

I ate a piece of rebar last Thursday evening, it had a very irony flavor to it.
