Actually, the "Pink scarf" is a read torn up bandana in real life. Very manly, but pink works too.

Ok, looking at that picture again, we can do some grouping..

The guy with the blue tie, looks like he's going to hook up with the girl far left, that leaves you and the guy next to you with one each of the selection infront of you. Which then leaves the dude in black with the three girls clustered around him. No wonder he has such a large grin on his face...

None of the people in that picture are going out with anyone else in the picture. I don't really know where the guy in black came from, it turns out he is like 20 and the rest of us are 16.

As for the girl you all find so attractive, she is one of my best friends (we're neighbors, have all the same classes this year, and have had 130 separate AIM conversations in the last 150 days totaling 2 MB of pure text...), and yes we did dance that night
