Now, Sunset Gardens Patio Apartments in conjunction with Sandia National Laboratories and Lockheed Martin bring you the Pufervian Philosophical Question of The Day: If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much is, say, one-tenth of a picture? Is one-tenth of a picture not still a picture? If it's not, is a picture of one-tenth of something (an elephant, perhaps) not a picture of that something?

While half of a picture is technically still a picture and still worth a thousand words, half of a picture of an elephant is half of a picture of an elephant and is thusly worth half as many words. On the other hand, half of a picture of an elephant is a picture of half an elephant, so it's still worth a thousand.

I would say it would depend on which half of the elephant...

I think it depends on the nationality of the elephant, to be honest.

Nope, his answer was about as close as anyone can get anymore as we're no longer allowed to speak of Tanzania. "Ribbit" isn't all that bad an alternative as far as I'm concerned.
