No, its more the bad taste of the attitudes there. Sure, they discuss real-world events, but they focus on battering anyone senseless who doesn't share their viewpoint and so much as thinks their text should be a shade lighter than what it is. A lot of the arguments are irrational, closed-minded, and pointless nitpicking missing the overall concepts and meaning behind the event they were discussing.
So bad, many have chosen to never again venture past the heads on pikes guarding the door.
