Pufer was my first and most often used handle. When Pufer isn't available I'll use pufer2000 (WebTV email address), pufer-2000 (eBay), or exocarp (very rarely, I'm generally known as Pufer).

Way back when, as in preadolescence, I came up with the remarkably clever 'WizKC', because that's my name, except I shortened my last name to two letters. (I am so smart.) This was back in the early days of AOL. I began going by 'DeathWiz' during my Myth:TFL playing days, and 'coolwiz' when I got my first hotmail account.

I changed to 'groovewiz' after I forgot my password to that hotmail account. I eventually decided on Myriad and Vishnu as my two regularly used handles, although groovewiz still lives on in multiple email addresses of mine.

My first screen name was dragoon_77, which I created when i first got Starcraft in the summer of 2000. It was shortly replaced by -esw-dragoon_77 after I joined Clan ESW. My first screen name on the ASW boards was supersaiyan, registered September 16, 2000. After several months of forgetting the boards (and my screen name) existed, I joined again as -esw-dragoon_77. Since then, I've used -esw-dragoon_77 or some variation of it for pretty much everything. My other, non-Dragoon names include stormreaver99 and r_kazootie.

That was a lot more information than was asked for, and I really don't care.

First one... Roadkill. Roadkill38 for Hotmail, but then I got bored of it (and Hotmail sucked) so I used Souris666 on AIM for a while. I've been using ThePixelGuru on AIM and IRC for the better part of five years, and it's also my domain name (thepixelguru.net). For email, I use jamisont, usually. Now I also use GlowStickNin4 and Rome Itself on AIM. Rome Itself comes from a terrible Rod McKuen poem of the same title (you might have to scroll down a bit), and is the reference I used to become, to my knowledge, the only person ever to propose a toast to his own penis at a formal dinner. We read the poem as an example of what not to do for my english class, and a large portion of people in that class were present (including the teacher, who was also responsable for the dinner), and I stood up and said, "I would like to propose a toast to Rome itself - you know where I carry it." My second toast was to Randolph Scott. Anyone get that reference?

You guys don’t know how lucky you are. I would rather be locked in a room with ten LK’s then have this retard wander in here occasionally. This moronic two year old managed to flatter a mod into his pocket, surely by accident –he’s far too stupid to do it on purpose- and will use it on anyone who is mean to him.

Anyways...
My original moniker was –gasp- FlamingGodSmiley. I came up with it when I was moving. Pack a box in five minutes, then draw on it for five. A great time waster to be sure.

Quantam Resolution. Deliberately misspelt.
Then it became QRes, abbreviated
Then just Quantam

I went through a number of nicknames on and off-line that stuck for various times (Einstein, Grey Panther, MadMan, Horse), but Gage Stryker is fairly universal now with my online presence.

In case you're wondering, Einstein was a reference both to my intellectual capacity and my hair, Grey Panther was a moniker I had in a short lived band, MadMan was used because it's a derivation of my name backwards, and Horse was because... well, I won't corrupt any more innocents.
